Quick Lane Technician

Mike Kelly Automotive is searching for a Full-Time employee to add to our Hyundai Express Maintenance Program. We would prefer at least 1-year experience but will provide training if not. Many of our Certified Master Technicians started out as entry level maintenance technicians working their way through our ongoing training program.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  

• Perform vehicle inspections, basic maintenance, oil changes, tire rotations, and minor repairs
• Tire replacement, and tire repair
• Communicate with service advisors when additional repairs are needed
• Work alongside skilled technicians to learn how to perform quality vehicle service maintenance and repairs
• Opportunity and support to become a certified Hyundai Technician

REQUIREMENTS:
 

• High school diploma
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
• Knowledge in aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
• Learns quickly
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Team player
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Ensures that customer’s cars are kept clean
• Maintain stall in an orderly and clean manner
• Ability to identify problems quickly
• Knowledge of automobiles
• Math, reading, and computer skills
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
• Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
